this is an ungodly hour, everything is strange and all you get are dirty looks cause no one in thier right mind is up this early except crack heads.
comicon here i come. t minus 7 hours and counting......
I was wondering if you were going this year...
Are you dressing up?
Do you know or did you see James Kochalka? He's apparently a fixture in town here.
Oh and of course the inventor of 4:30 am also invented 4:20 pm and 5:00 pm. On a unrelated note, I'm surprised that the crusade of metric and decimalization that swept Europe and most the world ignored our highly un-metric time system.
You know who invented American time?
The Railroads, not so long ago each town/county set their own time, the Railroads tycoons, i guess, got pissed about everyone missing their rides... so they set the time zones, Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific.
So much for Government...
yeah i went and i still owe the blog a report from it. i've been busy since i've been back and still catching up on some stuff from it. i'd rather not go back next year as its time to visit somewhere else. no dress up, the flash costume just isn't up to snuff.

"Americans spent $3.4 billion purchasing 730-million packages of hot dogs and sausages in U.S. supermarkets last year, according to the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council."
how do i get on that council?
that your average hotdog/sausage and bun combo costs 4.66$ a pack?
thinking about the quality of meat allowed in a hot dog, i'm guessing the national hot dog and sausage council doesn't have a lot of pull.
It's otherwise known as the "council of elders"

randomness

ever have one of those days where you end up doing a million different things you never thought you'd do? today i found myslef hitting electronics with a hammer to make them work, i punched a bee (pretty funny moment), drove a 18 wheeler around the parking lot, disassembled furniture and a few other random computer things. crazyness, and i was half asleep and cranked on coffee all day after only 5 hours of sleep last night. i guess that's what i like about my job, sometimes its just toally random and being an engineer has nothing to do with what needs to get done.
not a bad day. way to punch the bee in the face.
also, we should play golf again soon. that was fun. and i just looked at my league schedule and due to some weekend plans, prices, and other things i probably wont be playing a tourney for another month or month and a half. so that leaves a bunch of open weekends, let me know when you're interested.

pop culture convention in hartford. its the best thing we're going to get this close to home. go out and support your local nerds. there are going to be some good guests even though most people won't knwo a one of them. there is also a
childsplay auction happening, this is a sweet event which goes towards a great cause. they donate video games to childrens hospitals.
i went to this two years ag oand it was pretty good, it was the first time being in the hartford convention center, which is sweet, because it had just opened. i missed it last year cuase of comicon but this years it the weekend after. tomarrow is the last day to get a three day pass for 45 dollars. its worth checking out for the costumes alone. try to see the cosplay chess game they do, its something to see.
