Connecticon 2009
pop culture convention in hartford. its the best thing we're going to get this close to home. go out and support your local nerds. there are going to be some good guests even though most people won't knwo a one of them. there is also a childsplay auction happening, this is a sweet event which goes towards a great cause. they donate video games to childrens hospitals.
i went to this two years ag oand it was pretty good, it was the first time being in the hartford convention center, which is sweet, because it had just opened. i missed it last year cuase of comicon but this years it the weekend after. tomarrow is the last day to get a three day pass for 45 dollars. its worth checking out for the costumes alone. try to see the cosplay chess game they do, its something to see.
