i'm a little pissed. i read the book on vacation in mexico and i just watched the movie. the book was slow to start but picked up in a hurry and had some very good scenes that set the tone and left an impression. the movie failed to deliver on both fronts and left me wanting more. it felt rushed ans didn't do the book justice. reading the book i felt it was slow to start and far too much of it was background info until it all came together and ended up great. the movie rushed the good parts and left me confused. if i hadn't read the book i would have been lost in the movie and the subtle parts were none existent. the book started slow and the movie was set at a constant speed. ten years ago i would have said this was a great movie that moved quickly and left me wanting to read the book. it would have been to smart for me. i liked those movies that moved fast and seemed too smart for me to understand. this one was different, i liked the book and read it first.he movie was slow and didn't live up to expectations. the actors were fine. they didn't stand a chance against the bad script and bad editing.
i need a laptop. right now i can't afford the laptop i want but maybe the laptop i need. i need a laptop that can surf the net with ease and handle pictures, video and normal work stuff with ease. games are one of the worse drains on PC performance and i don't need games to run on this thing. i'm looking for a functional typing laptop with roughly a 111.1" screen. i want portable and long battery life. i want to sit at a Starbucks all day and drink coffee until i'm numb and write the great american novel. is that so much to ask?
well those new Aquos 70.1" screens are way cool, not really sure where id put an 111.1" screen, maybe on my roof so the neighbors can enjoy it too
