heart attack breakfast + hair of the dog = ready for the Apocalypse!

hell yeah, i wonder if there's a gathering place i can go heckle these people. they deserve it. i hope this is like a reverse apocalypse were all the believers die. these people shouldn't be allowed to vote, and i makes me loose faith in our system of government to know their vote counts as much as mine. i need to find some of the ones giving away all their stuff before its too late so i can set it on fire in front of them. i'm going to hell already so this certainly won't be the straw that broke the camels back here.

hair of the dog was a good choice this morning, bloody mary's have me rip roaring and ready to go. i've become more of a breakfast man as i get older. sausages, ham steak, eggs and cheese, BACON! hell yeah that's a good way to start your day. it's been keeping me from eating larger lunches i guess. it may also put me on cholesterol medication but we'll cross that bridge when its time. last time i had it checked it was low so i was in good shape there. starting my day with a nice breakfast at the hotel in fitchburg has been a nice side bonus about this assignment. I've rediscovered the joy's of salsa in my eggs.

the photo of the bloody mary is the extent of my dad's recipe. quite simple but damn good (the celery salt is missing from the pic though). I've tried doing it with V8 as well but that just gives it a funny taste. keep anything citrus away from them as well, no lemon or lime. i think this will end up being a nice addition to my sunday morning routine. currently its the bad ass breakfast mentioned above along with reading the papers (i'm a sucker for the NY times and the hartford courant), a little taste of the greenery when able (stupid drug screenings!) and watching the sunday morning news programs (meet the press). its a nice way to unwind from the week and the weekend.

that was a good call. i ate the free breakfast at the hotel, a frozen lemonade from dunkin, and took a nap when i got back.
