Skype

Anyone here using skype? Tim, Jesse and I have been using it for our nerd games in conju Fiona with google wave and its fantastic. I got my sister and parents hooked up on it too. Wave of the future that video chat, wave of the future.

Don't you understand?! The Wave is destroying us, damn it! We must break away.

Perhaps its best the Wave will be destroyed, maybe we'll post more often on the blog.

besides, you are light years ahead of us in that game. D&D is a level playing field.

And its free.

being ahead would be a huge benefit, plus i would certainly start a new toon to match the group.

the cost per month is worth it for the better of the two games. i don't think you understand what kind of time sink you're under taking.

Well i for one am having a good time on DDO, i look forward to doing some group play, but happy i can run around and do some solo stuff too. And im really happy its free, as im trying to save money.

On that topic, i really like this hybrid style of paying for games. Its free but you kinda gotta work harder, or you can pay to level up fast or open up new things. Im sure i will pay them a little, but its not like i have too. I think its win win all around.

Its cool if you don't want to play, Matt. We don't all have to dork it up together every time.

I'm going to try like hell to not pay any money. I just got to hold out until Civ 5 comes out.
