the answer is religion

if i wanted to be rich, i'd do something that both got people excited, motivated and rallied everyone behind an honest cause.  if i was honest.

what if i wasn't? what if all i wantedto do was make a buck by lying, cheating,  stealing, and conducting all business that i do in that moral grey area, or by just being a total douchebag?  

next point.  today was the next to last day of the black ops special project hitman at my company. his contract runs out tomarrow and he will be leaving us forever. we went out to celebrate and have a few drink with people from work to wish him well.  it was a typical work function, nothing exciting or mindblowing, but a few drinks at the local bar. i'll be sad to see him go. we started out on the wrong foot but i've done a lot of work with him since then and i can honestly say i've learned somthing from him. he's been a great influence on my life and i'll be greatful for that. when i decide to rule the world, he's a person i'll go looking for because i can trust him to do a great job and he's not an idiot. we didn't often agree but i'll always fight him on stuff because thats just hte way i am. 

he paid me more then one great compliment tonight while drinking with many people who control my future at this company and i greatly apreciated it.  at the end of hte night it was myself, the special project hitman and my boss, drinking and talking about hte future (because at this point we were each a little drunk).  one of the things i think i've alway impressed this guy with, is that i'll tell him NO.  if i think differently, or just don't sgree, i'll say No in a meeting. in front of a lot of people.  i take plenty of chances (RE: i have been fired twice you know) in front of my bosses and this guy was one of the few who admired it. i'm going to keep in touch with this guy because its in my best interest both personally and profesionally. he could easily lead me to a great job and he will also be a great resource for decades to come.

professionally there are a few people like this that i will always keep contact information for. they've either been a great help in the past or i expect to cross paths with them in the furture. life is a crazy journey that will take you to many different places. what a long strange trip it's been.

damn it, i'm drunk. and now high. oops

Sounds like you want to make out with him. You didnt take him home for one last hurrah did you?
