Matt Barone will get you fired

i found out today i was directly responsible for getting another human being laid off. my company is getting hit hard from the drop in auto sales so they let a handful of people go today, only one of whom will be missed. none of them were me.

i'm not an idiot so i saw the writing on the wall. the auto industry is way off in sales. our company is tied to that. it takes a month or two to trickle down but it happenes. so we used it as an excuse to let some bad people go. i just helped to point out certain key things about certain people, to the right people. and now they don't work for us.

they held a plant wide meeting today to tell everyone and calm people down. i may have been the only person smiling. i'm a sick fuck.

well it was that or lose someone useful. i think this guy might have used it to prove that my opion does sometimes make it to the top. and now i'm wondering what other rants may have made it that high from this guy. i've done a lot of good work with him so maybe its positive. i have no idea anymore.
