I'm moved to Tallasassy almost a year ago. Wow, that went quick. Its been good here. I dropped in on a fun social group by chance of my rental situation. I'm very satisfied with my home life, having people to talk to when i come home eases me at what I believe to be a subconscience level. I am also very much fond of the two cats and dog that reside with me. I have a decent start at a friends group and there is more potential to come. The nightlife suits my fancy and the town is not too big and not too small. I havent hit it off with any striking female as of yet, but again, there is potential to come. The job is very busy, occasionally high stress, but rewarding. And again, there is potential to come.
Given such factors (and that my lease is running out) I have henceforth decided to look into buying a house. The past week has been a crazy learning curve of how to go about doing THAT. I've been staying up late and cramming like a fat white lady at Po' Folks (there's one for you dirty southerners). I have to say it's going steadily well. This is a big decision, but it just seems to make sense for a lot of reasons. I'll keep you updated.
These are happy times for me even in the face of impending and increasing deadlines and having to planning my schedule months ahead. I practice yoga atleast once a week, play volleyball, am attempting to organize an ultimate frisbee game, and have a weekly trivia night at a local bar. Keeping busy and keeping healthy. As many of you know, I took a big hit about two years ago. It really knocked me off my feet and took me to new places. I'm healing back stronger, wiser, better, and will continue to do so. There will always be the bigger things, crazy ambitions, troublesome worries, and greener grass that will lure me to want something different, more, or better. That will never change. But my perspective can. Remember kids...its all relative.
Good to hear
We're going through the home buying process too. Let me know if you want to know anything in particular, I might be able to help. Next time your up, I also have Mortgage for Dummies and HOme Buying for Dummies, both asre very helpful. Your more than welcome to borrow them if you would like.
ditto here. just made an offer on a condo tonight, we'll see what happens.
I figure I'll just do what everyone else does... open the wallet and sign on the dotted line. Really, what's the worst that could happen?
