Technical Question

Sorry to bump Murphy's announcement for a tech discussion, but:
Does anyone have stop error problems with their computers when playing games? Mine just freezes up sometimes and I'll need to do a cold reboot. After the campaign I bought that new game F.E.A.R. and it doesn't even get past the first load screen. I got Rise of Legends and it gives me a damn freeze for every board I play. Could it be RAM? I put in the latest drivers for my Audigy Soundblaster and Radeon cards. I do frequent virus/adware checks and got a registry cleaner too. Now things are running slightly faster but I'm still locking up. Matt - I'm almost willing to trade you F.E.A.R. for one of your busted PDAs. Call of Duty ran almost flawlessly (locked up once or twice) but then again, that was from 2003 not 2006. Yes, I'm a gamer, and so is Matt (and our girlfriends love us for it) which is pretty much why that whole "revamp the workermonkey" idea never got off the ground yet. YET. Watch out 2009!!

That reminds me - I never posted much at all about the fact I ran a political campaign, which might make for some very interesting reading. Err......consider it pending.
