What a joke

Has anyone seen the trailer for the new Bond movie? Give me a fucking break! The new Bond is a blonde muscular action hero! I can understand why they wanted to get someone a little athletic. But come on...that is NOT James Bond! Plus the trailer was all high paced action and explosions.

Yes the Bond series needed a change. But what they needed was a real plot, good acting, and to stick with what worked- class, intrigue, and wit. Instead it appears they went the hollywood route and chose a dumbass pretty boy who blows stuff up a lot while driving cars really fast. Failure! The legacy of 007 is being disgraced. I'm disgusted.

i couldn't agree more. i really can't stand the bonds of the 90's and 00's. the REAL bond movies were clever, creative, suspenseful. the new ones are, as you say, simply car chases and explosions.

i want to see the bond only because i've seen all the others, but i know it will be disappointing. i love when spike or tcm do the bond marathons around thanksgiving and xmas. coming up!
