what's the good word?

matt - how's the job search going? has your sister moved in yet?
damon - how's vt? is it good to be back in the US? new job plans?
ron - how's the job? still looking for a house/condo?

brancy - how's the new job and new location? the lady situation?
murphy - how's the wild wild? still enjoying yourself i hope
tim - how's the wife, and the rest of the life?
john - how's school going?
jesse - how's the new place? enjoying it?
i dont think anyone else still reads this, but if so, what's up?

things with me are about the same. wake up, class, read, sleep, repeat. i've been trying to bust my ass during the week so i enjoy my weekends. i think it's a pretty good plan and it's worked out well so far. this weekend i'm going up to visit dominique because her birthday is next week, so that'll be a nice break from this place and school. things with her are going wonderfully...better than ever. i hope you guys liked her when you met her (for those who did), and if you didnt she'll be back. she's gonna be around for a long time (unless of course she gets sick of my shit, hahaha). but really, it's great.

my future is pretty wide open. i have no clue where i'll initially go yet. i'm also strongly considering not taking the bar and using my degree for something else...an alternative career. my summer experience with a firm only increased the likelihood of this. but there's still time, we'll see.

i hope this post finds everyone happy and well. i'll be home briefly for thanksgiving, but definitely for winter break. i hope we can all get together.

We're doing good, thanks for asking. Basically status quo for the last couple of months. Glad to see you are well, and good to see that you have such a positive outlook! Keep up the good work. -TL

I saw your dad on local cable access for the Board of Ed meeting today JOsh. He was animated.

I've been working half-time at the capitol and the other half in East Hampton at a campaign HQ for one of the House Dems. I've been in charge of HQ since day one of the lease. Grass-roots from the ground up. And definitely learning the ropes day by day.

And as for Lieberman, the composition of voters here is going to make it pretty close if Lamont keeps up these catchy commercials. Hell, I'm even starting to get swayed after that investigation committee release that report (which we knew from the start) about Al-Queda having no foothold whatsoever in Iraq before the war. Saddam didn't trust THEM. What kind of fucking strategists do we have up at the NSA anyways who said it'd be a great idea to de-stabilize them?!?

Jobs ok. Although i'm begining to understand why people shoot people now. I'll burn this fucking place down i swear. Tally is pretty sweet so far. There are things to do, culture, people, fun. The female situation is somewhat stagnant- wish it was moving faster. But you know how these things go- they just come along at random times. I'm struggling with being older than the college crowd. They all seem so..so...stupid? Its hard to find what you what.

Job search is going good. i've got an interview later today with a company that makes stuff for airports. i've got an interview tomarrow morning too with a place that wants someone to be able to communicate between one set of engineers who don't know what their talkingabout and another set who's trying to build what the first set wants. i think its more of a sales position. sister in moving in at the end of the month, her and my mom acactually on their way down right now to stay for a few days. everything else is going good.

i'm a fucking turtle is still funny to me too.

Hey, funny how many of us are in a changing situation. Everything is sweet up here, and it's strange to be able to understand overheard conversations and to be able to read the paper and labels.

damon, oh shit, you're home, sort of. where are you anyway? give me a call tomarrow. i'll hook you up with a bedroom and maybe i'll get my sistert o show you around or something. i'm going to head back up that way sometime soon for another few days.

Matt, can you have your sister show me around when I come home too? But dont worry, i can provide my own bedroom.

By Blogger Brancibeer, at Wednesday, September 13, 2006 11:49:00 PM

I've got a flat in the South End of Burlington, so no need for a bedroom. Are you up here? Still using the 781 number?

By Blogger Damon, at Thursday, September 14, 2006 12:23:00 PM

No no no...it's "I'll show you my bedroom where you could hook up with my sister or something."

By Blogger DJ Booze Piñata, at Thursday, September 14, 2006 9:59:00 PM

no one wants to hook up with your sister. she has an adams apple and a penis.
