Swedes can't bear the heat
As much as they cry about having such a short summer, now with the temp over 30C every day things are going wrong. Sometimes I use the Swedish news as a way of showing how good it is here, like they are putting up video cameras to catch people who leave their recyclables on the ground next to the containers. If that is news you know things are going pretty smooth. But this week, things aren't too nice. I'm not feeling so great in this heat, and the nights don't cool down as much as at home so it's hard to avoid it. Anywho, here's some of this week's headlines:
Woman pours boiling water on sleeping husband
Elk hunted down after attack on man What they call elk, we call moose. Some kids were throwing things at it so it whipped some other random guy. That's not fair; the stupid kids antagonizing a huge animal deserved the beating.
Man injured in Stockholm gang fight
Family feud leads to Malmö court violence
Ok, not that those are all interesting, but the point is Swedes have been a bit nasty since their beloved summer finally came.
