NOT ass raped

i left for my little home training session in VA tuesday afternoon after running around like a chicken with my head cut off until i was finally able to pull myself away from work. I drove very fast back to my apartment to pick up my stuff and then grabbed a quick sandwich from Mills (ask him, i was buzzing). I made it to the airport on time and got to richmond with no problem. i picked up my rental car which happened to be a plymouth seabring convertable, sweet. rocked the top down to the hotel which i got to at about 8. My room was fucking sweet, i had a massive kingsized bed and like a little living room. checked in, grabbed a pizza and a few beers and just chilled until i passed out to Baseball Tonight. woke up and went to the guys house. Totally not what i expected. I had only talked to this guy over the phone twice and had expected a half decrepid old man who had lured me to his house. instead i found an energetic guy in his early 50's who turned out to be pretty cool. I spent the day in his office in the upstairs of his house where he lectured me for about an hour in some of the stuff this program does and then we did problems for the rest of the day. It was kind of cool, i definatly envy him being able to work out of his house like that. I played with his little dog for a while and then we went to lunch down the street. i left his house around 4 and headed back to the airport. i got there with plenty of time but once iboarded they decided to inform us that there was a delay in Philly where my connector was due to the weather. so we sat on the runway for about 45 minutes until it was good to go. of course this killed my 45 minute layover. I had to run from one plane to the next when i landed where they were kind enough to wait for me (i've been stuck in philly before because they had sent the flight off early, i can't explain how pissed i was at that one). Got on the plane only to find we were now 24th in line to take off because of the weather. fuck, sat another hour plus on the runway waiting. i got off in bradly at around 10:45 and went home where i enjoyed a nice glass of scotch and a few bingers until i couldn't keep my eyes open any more. then it was time for work again. once again when i got in this morning there was stuff piled up on my desk that hadn't been shipped or was supposed to be shipped while i was gone (again). i'm so pissed. but the moral of this story is that i was not ass raped by some dirty southerner. mission accomplished.

Nice work man. I just hope that you find some enjoyment in there and don't get burned out. What was that guy telling you about that you had to fly down there to see it in person. It sounds like it's both sweet and awful to be the man at work.
