One of my buddies at work found this pic after he saw my staff profile pic

its Rik from the BBC comedy The Young Ones! I've never seen it but fuck it stirred up quite a laugh around the office.

i hope you think of guys like me first. you can model all the crap you want but we build the parts that coat the blades and other parst that are used to make engine parts. you tell me how thick to make it, then it comes out however the hell i feel like. is that enough argon in the chamber? beats the hell out of me but it won't get coated proppery if the holes in the gas ring are too small. maybe i'll save a few bucks by making it out of 601 instead of inconel 600. maybe those masking cans don't fit togeather right after the 10th run. there are about a million places to fuck up an engine after you get done with it. i'm sure i've told a bunch of you the story about all the parts inthe back of hte test cells.
