when was the last time anyone here tried to multiply fractions? i was trying to help hot bosses neice today with her homework and i couldn't do it. 5/9 x 2/11 threw me for a loop. i was defeated by a twelve year old. i can design the crap out of complex systems, but i can't do fractions. this is the kind of stuff that makes me wonder why anyone would trust me to do anything.

you just multiply numerators for the top, and denominators for the bottom. of course the only reason i know this is cuz i'm taking trusts and estates, and the fractions for the intestate shares can get kinda crazy.

estate work is kinda cool. dead clients are probably better than living ones too.

yes it's 10/99, though I wouldn't have known how to do it either; I just converted to decimals to check your answer

I had trouble ADDING the other day. I had 2 checks that i needed to total before i deposited and it took me like 5 minutes and i was still unsure. And forget about long division...
