First hike today into the backcountry north of Bridger bowl. Solo hike to a place called Bradleys Meadows. Dont really need any avalanche gear there cause the risk of sliding is low. Decided to hike up higher above the meadows to some really steep shit. Smoked a one-y and started down the slope. Very deep and untouched. Skied down behind Bradleys and realized i was too low. traversed across for a while and found some tracks, followed them down a long steep trail. Great snow and good turns but i ended up a couple of miles away from Bridger in this cross country park, Bohart. Up and down the cat track of the cross country trail with my fat ass heavy powder skis. Found the lodge to this place and luckly found a ride back to the mt with a ski schooler broad-she pretty much gave me a ride all the way back to the ski shop and gave me a granola bar, which was sweet. Its pretty much the best case senario of what could of happened out in the middle of nowhere late in the day and by myself. Awesome.
next time im going to bring the gear and a partner that knows where to go.
im gonna have a beer and eat some food, ill talk to you guys later

You are lucky to be alive. But it sounds like you learned so that's good.
"ski schooler broad," what is it, 1920 out there?
Actually I guess the "alive" bit is a little much because for your whole story to have happened in just three hours, you weren't very far.
the men are men and the sheep are nervous, if thats what your asking. there was no chance of me dying unless i broke my leg and was out there for a couple of days. I had a rough idea of where i was and i had alot of water.
