the sunday tv wrap-up

i dont care that you dont care. i caught quite a bit of television tonight. here's how i rated it.

new simpsons #1 (ray the roofer): B+ pretty funny overall
new simpsons #2 (bart gets fat): B had its moments, but not vintage simpsons
family guy: A excellent. kicked off right away by making fun of fox, and ended up killing mel gibson. good times
american dad: C+ i was expecting more. it had its moments here and there, but i really didn't buy the main character. also, i can deal with talking animals, but i dont like the alien as a full time family member/houseguest.
the bruce springsteen storytellers: A+ this one took the night. amazingly intimate, in depth discussion of lyrics and songs. he played with feeling. he was candid and serious, yet humorous. it helps that he's my favorite artist, but i think anyone who likes him a little would enjoy this.



its nice to be done. home in a bit for golf, baseball, drinking, general malaize

nice night, i caught family guy and american dad. i liked both. my favorite show is the shield w/ the commish.

i missed the sunday night line up. the shield is also one of my favorite shows, i'm glued to the TV every tuesday night for it. the new season is great too. i like glen close as the captain. the first three episodes were all about getting the story uptodate and getting things back on track. now its back in full force.
