it's official: i'm out of shape

i guess i knew it, but didnt want to totally admit it. but yesterday i played in the alumni baseball game at hk (the current team won, 2-1). all i did was run to first twice (1-2, single), pitch an inning, and make 3 plays at third. now i expected my arm to be sore, but not my back, calves, and the left half of my ass. i apparently used more muscles than i remembered i had. i was gonna golf today but it hurt too much to get dressed. looks like i'm on the golfing dl for a few days.

hope everyone had a good memorial day. chump good luck on your interview today (which you may have already had).

murph thanks for the good time fri night, too bad about the po-po.

For a second I saw "poo-poo" instead of "po-po" and got really confused.

josh, we're all out of shape. after a long day of drinking and selling hot dogs on the river, i woke up feeling sore and not refreshed. i've been running a mile on a fairly consistant basis, but i'm starting to think it may not be enough. i need to get back into shape.

after watching Super Size Me, i really felt like i shouldn't ever eat at a fast food place again. instead i've been making more trips to the supermarket instead and grabbing a piece of fruit and a slightly-fresh made sandwich or even the salade bar. small steps.
