if you haven't already
rent "wag the dog" (1997 - bobby d, dustin hoffman, william h macy, woody harrleson). i saw it a couple years ago, but it was on tonight and it was much better this time around. the basic premise (without giving it away) is the president wants to create a fake war to divert attention from an alleged sex scandal to get reelected. very interesting statement about politics, the media, etc, especially in the wake of the white house produced commercials/press conferences W's been putting out there recently. well, reservoir dogs is on now...might never get to sleep tonight.
