ok well this was the link i had, and i wrote up a whole long thing, based on constitutional law about how the historical argument and the US development argument are both flawed, and that this in no way can be construed as adhering to the very clear notion of the separation of church and state.
however, since i can't copy and paste from word for some reason, this is the best you're going to get. i do have the post saved in word and for any of you who may be interested i can email it to you, though i'm sure i will get 0 replies about that. but i thought hard about it so i figured i'd throw it out there.
goddamn how hard is it to allow cutting and pasting? ok well, judge the article for yourself.
